Really lovely hotel. The room was a good size with a huge bed (with a choice of different pillows) huge TV, great big wardrobe and lovely bathroom. The location of the hotel is brilliant: about 7-8 minute walk from the Santa Maria Novella Train station- lots of people up and down the road with suitcases; it was a 2 minute walk from the Arno River with beautiful views; and a 10 minute walk into the centre of the town. You can go through the streets or stroll along the river 10 minutes until you hit the Ponte Vecchio and the Uffizi Gallery. There’s so many cafes and restaurants all around. I dined in the hotel restaurant one night and Niccolò the waiter was absolutely lovely and the food was delicious. There’s a lovely little courtyard garden too. I didn’t have time to have a massage but there was a leaflet in the hotel room and they also deliver breakfast to your room if you prefer. Staff were really friendly and helpful.

The location was great too. It was central and convenient to the city center, places of attractions (Piazza Duomo, Florence Cathedral...), great restaurants, shops, SMN train station, and supermarkets - all within a short walking distance. I also liked that the hotel provided gluten free menu options.

Well-appointed hotel with helpful staff meeting any additional requirements. Good breakfasts, and we had a lovely evening meal one evening with exceptional service. The only negatives were no WiFi reception in my sons room, and nothing could be done about even though we reported on the first day, and for a four star hotel, I didn't think although a convienient location it was in a nice area of the city.

The location is good and bad at the same time, near to things to see but in an area where there are people that can make you feel uncomfortable.
